I have an online business that I operated in Ibiza from the UK for 2 years. Its fine to do that short term I said i lived in the UK and travelled between the two and it was fine. I was VAT registered and on a flat rate scheme. There is a double taxation treaty so you will never pay in both countries. It probably is best to stay uk registered and no one will really check where you live. (that only really happens when you are trying to live off shore) However I live in Ibiza, i use the roads, i use the bins, I use the street lights. I also go pregnant here so to use the medical system I moved my business to be spanish. Now my daughter and I also get health care. Paying automino here is expensive I pay 260 a month!!! I also pay 21% IVA (which my clients hold as a retention and then they pay so not as painful as a VAT bill) i have an accountant Doornbos and Cheema who speak english here. Good luck x
