There's a secondhand craft store in fountain square/Bates Hendricks that might interest you. Not gonna be a reliable source of what you're looking for, but a fun place to stop every once and awhile. It's called ReCraft.

There's a rc shop in beech Grove called Indy RC. They sell all rc components and have an indoor race track to practice on and I'm assuming races too.

Apparently there is an electronics / hardware shop downtown but I drove around the corner and it looked pretty abandoned and sketchy. I chickened out so don't know if its good or not. Unfortunately it's just cheaper to order these things online and wait the sometimes long wait.

to be honest, I will do the repair for free, but it may take some time to get it running according to spec (being as I work during the day). The people you will find on tapeheads.net will charge, however you will be paying for a professional service that will have much better testing equipment than I (as in most of the people you will find on the tapeheads site have their own recording studio typically). Speak with them first and see if you can get a fair price for the repair. If not, I will do it for free.
