Jim B. replied:
This link to the R.L. Polk City Directory from 1965 may help. The pages are fascinating. There may be some little markers at the bottom of this particular page that I brought up in a search for jewelry stores. If you click on each one they will give you the name of a jewelry store. or dealer. . https://archive.org/stream/polksindianapoli1964 unse#page/n67/mode/2 up

I just had a new clasp put on a necklace along with 5 watch batteries at a place in Avon called Keller Fine Jewelry in Avon and, total, it all cost $28. They were super nice, the owner came and talked to me for a long time, and I felt their prices were really reasonable. Right on US36 across from WalMart.
Does anyone remember the Air Liner in Irvington? It was a block west of Ritter on Northside of street. Roscoe's jewelry store is there now. It was a restaurant .
