Sandy if you go to the RCM Site they should be able to list out RCM teachers in the area...I went to Woodstock..lots of RCM there.. I know this area tends to focus on Canadian Conservatory which most Universities dont acknowledge.... My daughter is in her second year at Queens Music Major.. we were at RCM in Toronto then switched but other than Western most universities dont acknowledge it..Here is a hint for the wise and to make sure you have a good teacher.. Make sure they push Theory with your child... Emily was usually a 80-90% average student in CC/RCM.. but theory nearly killed her in her first year especially if they get a theory PHD who is a genious at doing it but not able to communicate it ...but the struggle lies mostly because teachers dont work their student at higher levels only II level and they need more - so I would quiz your choice on that.. Many teachers focus on performance but that only gets you in..Need the meat of the theory to do really well...especially in first year since theory at any school is a two year program in itself...

Check out www.ormta.org. From there you can find a qualified piano teacher from the Oxford/Woodstock section. Unfortunately my studio is full this season. This may give you some ides.
