Thank you all for the information! We have seen Dr. Krazel at Delmont Vet since the 90's. I called for our annual appointment & was told he was no longer there as of Jan. 1 st and they wouldn't tell me any details.

they are most likely tape worms (do they look like rice?) and are caused from eating a flea. Most over the counter meds wont work for long and it is best to get a dewormer from your vet. Dr. Schowalter on 286 is good and i've heard the new place on 993 is as well.

New Stanton vet has been my vet for the last 10 years. I am leery to endorse East Suburban--my rottie went there for cruciate ligament surgery and the surgeon operated on the wrong leg, denied it and altered the paperwork. They have also been sued for putting down an otherwise healthy dog that went in for a simple and treatable problem.
