Hi Alexandra, yes, I think I can help you and recommend a hairdresser just off Istiklal Street which I have recently started using for colour, cut and blow-dry, and am very pleased with, although not sure about 'wedding' prices. The name of the salon is 'Baby Face' kuafor. It is open every day between 7.00 a.m. and 11.00 p.m.! The address is Ayhan Isik Sokak No.3 K:2-3 Beyoglu. Their telephone number is 0212.249.49.17/0212.249.98.38. Email: info@babyfacekuafor. The street is opposite Sephora, and I think there is a bank on one corner, and a shoe shop on the other. Going up the small street, it is about 20 metres up on the left, and up a couple of floors. The guy who does my hair, his name is Bulent, but he speaks very little English, so if you have a Turkish friend, better they come with you, or speak to him on the phone. He doesn't work Mondays. Uppingham or Gretton ate the best by far, lived in the village all my life and have NEVER had any trouble seeing a doctor and always on the day if urgent. Esther Chapman at the Cottage Salon on Kirby Road is a great hairdresser and always accommodating with her appointment times

I agree Dr Pickering is good, and never had a bad cut with Esther, and always manages to get you an appointment how ever late the notice. Great prices too.
