Art Therapy in Levent is meant to be excellent ( Martine, did you go there in the end?). In terms of docs, the one I recommended to Jennifer way back when is good for knees, so would assume also for ankles. He is not impatient with the scalpel, which is a rarity in Turkey, as you know. Jen, do you have his up to date contact details?

No. 3; 0212 231 58 94; sakman@ortopedist.com.tr or senolakman@hotmail.com. That's current as of Aug. 2013, at least. Don't give up! x
