There are a few doctors off base that speak English. The one I go to most often is at Nishiki Hospital (you can pull it up on Google Maps) by the Kintai. I just walk up to the front desk and ask for Tamada Sensei. It's best to go in the morning. It's usually full and there's usually a wait, but not too long. Just keep an open mind - it's not anything like seeing a Doctor in the states. If it's a major medical issue, I actually recommend flying to Bangkok and going to Bumrungrad Hospital.

If you don't mind traveling gion ushita hospital in Hiroshima is good. They accept foreign insurance and has a doctor who speaks good English. I have VA health care and the ICC won't accept my insurance they always say they can only bill tricare prime everyone else has to pay first then send the paperwork to your insurance company to get reimbursed. I can use the clinic but they are not very good with decent scheduling so I normally get seen off base.

I go to Aaty Hair on 188, she does amazing! I am very picky when it comes to my hair because I want to keep the length. Currently my hair is past my bottom and I'm getting 3 inches off tomorrow. She understands ONLY 3 inches and not shorter. I have had stylist cut half my length when I didn't ask for it. She does not! Also she does great layers and blends so it doesnt look chopped. She speaks English and I take a few pics so she understands exactly what I want.
