Jenn R. replied:
The b&b has vendors and restaurants she's worked with for years, so we're going with her recommendation on those. Dinner at Raintree after the ceremony and pictures, no music or dj or anything like that to worry about. Its a 20 person guest list so its small and intimate. As far as catering, Anthony's Catering has an amazing southern style menu we were looking at before we decided to keep it small. Music-Kevin Peffer (who also announces for the Jags) does dj-ing and he's a great guy too.

St Francis is a favorite of mine, also. I went there for my birthday the year my mom died. They baked me a triple layer chocolate cake and threw a small birthday party during the social hour at the inn. I'll never forget it. It meant so much to me. Also, the Alexander House is nice. Close to the distillery/Ice Plant restaurant, it's a good distance from the downtown noise, and no tour trains all day. Also, their prices are decent and the suites upstairs are BEAUTIFUL. I had a private, screened in porch and private entrance. Not to mention, a Jacuzzi tub!
D.j. P. replied:
I'd recommend either one. St Francis Inn has the CUTEST pool, very shallow, in the back, and a lovely garden to sit in. The Alexander Homestead Inn has the advantage of less noise, and the suites are huge. I would HIGHLY recommend the private entrance one, because you don't have to worry about waking other guests if you come in late.
Ron T. replied:
There are many very nice B&Bs / Inns. I suggest visiting TripAdvisor.com for comparison and personal reviews.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a bed and breakfast in the historic district for this weekend, any recommendations? Thanks I hope everyone's having a Blessed Day:-)
Carly N. replied:
I always advise people to choose based on where they want to be in downtown--there are a number that are squarely in the downtown walking area, close to restaurants, museums, shopping (Carriage House, Casa de Suenos, St. George Inn, Inn on Charlotte, and more) and then there are some on the quieter, more residential end of the historic district (Marin House and Westcott House on the bayfront south of the Bridge of Lions, Kenwood Inn, St. Francis Inn). They are all really, really excellent, and that's only a few of them. Enjoy!
