I'm currently trying to find a destination for my family vacation, 4 adults 6 kids ages 4-9. I love the ocean, shelling, the beach, riding bikes etc. Does anyone have...

Summer Haven has alot of vacation rentals. Now I don't suggest riding your bikes in that area but Marineland is a simple walk down the road.

Heather Neville with VeloFest would be my go-to person on biking around in the St. Augustine area:) I'm more of a beach person than a city person, and do know that a lot of our wide, flat beaches are great for bike riding, especially at low tide. https://flic.kr/p/AF1Th4
My wife and I are interested in picking up a new hobby. We're on a beginners budget. Can anyone recommend a manufacturer/shop that offers high quality bikes at entry...

I buy from Freddy at the Bike Shop on 3 rd street at Jax Beach. The also have a location at the Town Center off Gate and one other location. They have beginner level Motobecane Mountain bikes for $379.00 with Life Time Service. You can bring a bike in all muddied up and they'll clean it and service it for life.

Hello,
I am planning a honeymoon in St. Augustine the week of July 4th. I've got a few questions and someone said this would be the place to go for quality answers....

For a romantic restaurant I highly suggest the Ice Plant, which is featured in my article posted below, and for dessert, the Chocolate Turtle, which is also featured. Bikes would be pragmatic if you're in the heart of downtown. I have to take respectful exception to the recommendation of Scarlet O'Hara's and Columbia's, both of which I feel depend on the tourist trade and their locations and repute over the actual quality of their food. If you're into kayaking, check out kayaking in the Intercostal Waterway, too. http://porterbriggs.com/a-progression-of-southern-cuisine/

Arnold's on US 1 is a fun night place. On Thursday nights has food...But be there by 7 pm if you want to eat. The Edgewater Inn, at the bottom of the Bridge of Lions is a great place to stay. Within walking distance to lots of things. Bikes are great in this little quaint town. Just be careful on the main roads as many people are seeing the sights and not paying attention.

be aware that the week of July 4th is the second busiest holiday week next to Christmas here, if you don't have a a hotel room or rental now. I suggest that be your priority. There are no grocery stories in the downtown area but Publix, target, and Winn-Dixie are a short drive away . Saint Augustine is known for the food far and wide, There are so many insanely good restaurants. My all time favorites are the Floridian, Meehans, Ice Plant, Pizzaleys, Old City House, Catch 27, The Chocolate Turtle, Cellar 6. Bikes will work for the downtown area but I bet you would rather want to walk the 9 block area, its an easy walkable city. There are a ton of fun things to do in this town, its hard to pin point anything. I would suggest using trip advisor, I suggest a walking tour (pub crawl, food tour, use City Walks), trolly ride, pirate museum, Castillo De San Marcos, Alligator Farm and Crocodile Crossing ropes course and zip line, light house, Flagler College. The best thing to do is to just go exploring.
look for mini bikes.

Sounds like your pretty partial to ktm, but I bought my son a 2009 limited edition monster energy kx65. Bought new in 2012. He rode it for a season and a half and lost interest. I've got two sets of gear boots $400 helmet. Also 2012 Yamaha TTR 50 ridden 4 times. All new gear boots and helmet for a little girl never been worn
