Tractor Supply Company (TSC) on SR 301 in Starke usually has a great selection of Carhartt gear. Heard that Gander Mtn has some but I have not confirmed that. TSC has a web store too.

The American Bank was right next to LaMee's. Really behind it as it faced Atlantic Blvd & the bank faced Hendricks. American Bank was always trying to buy the LaMee corner.

There was also a hair salon on Hendricks near Matthews Restaurant called Joseph Adair. I got my hair cut by him there for my Englewood Senior photo. He cut it short!. He was pretty popular around S.S. then. '61.

LaMee the Florist shop was separated by a street by the little shopping block. My late husband Dr. Robert Uible Orthodontist was in there next to the Chinese Rest. Dr. Lamar Pearce, Periodontist was on the end next to Lamee. Bagley's rest. was also in there. This was in the 60's and early 70's.

Worked downtown . Had lunch at the Bagley's and/ or the Chinese restaurant at least once every week until they closed . My sister Patricia was secretary for Mr. Sherman, president of American Bank for many years . You will not find a bank today that is as friendly and pleasant to deal with today .
