How old is your dog? And, was he vaccinated? Can you take him to the vet asap earlier in the morning or so? We'd recommend Jeddah Veterinary Clinics as a 2 nd option.

Euro vet Dr Carlos always knows what's wrong with my cats, & I know how a lot of people are against him cause they charge a lot, but he knows what he's doing, took my cats to a happy pet many times they didn't know what was wrong, Carlos never prescribe antibiotics without knowing what's wrong first

Which are the most recommended Veterinary Clinics and Pet Stores in Jeddah / Riyadh?

Hey. I took my cat to Jeddah Vet today cuz alot of my friends who have cats have taken them there and speak highly of the place. i took tommy (my cat) there for his neutering and was impressed with the service. other than that iv always been terrified to take my cat to the vet cuz i never trusted any clinic. but today i decided i NEEDED to take him to the vet and find someone i trust. i went to jeddah vet cuz he already had a file there. The vet who took care of tommy was VERY professional, friendly and kind towards tommy and us. he handled him with care and he wasnt manhandled. So for this reason i highly recommend Jeddah vet from my personal experience =) i did check out pet care once (when my mother wanted to adopt a cat) and i got good vibes from it. i spoke to the head vet there (Dr. Daisy) and she seemed like she truely cared for rthe animals. i was going to take tommy there, but i decided on jeddah vet since he already had a file and its closer to my house =) so yeah thats my two cents. =) i am however against tahliya vet. they seem prejudice towards strays and handle them like theyre dirt. they dont seem to care for animals unless theyre pretty and purebred. the vet even had the nerve to tell my mother that her cat was going to be a bad cat cuz he was a rescued stray from the street and she should let him go and take a persian instead!!! so yeah purely for that reason im against tahliya vet...i didnt feel they cared for the animal as much as a vet should and it was more "procedure" and "work". as for pet stores...nope still have yet to find any that i approve of. i used to like the one in coral mall when it was smaller and had only 3-4 cats at a time. the cats used to be happy and always had clean food and fresh water...also added benefit of them not being caged up. but now it seems to have gotten overcrowded and the cats look more and more sick. so i dunno....they definatly still care for them more than other pet stores cuz they let them walk free, and let the customers play with them...so i guess id say that is the bestout of all. HOWEVER they do charge alot and im generally against the selling of animals for any price let alone a high one. but if we HAVE to choose a pet store id say that based on the conditions they keep their cats (also i should add i went there last a few months ago and my review is based on that) so i shall stop rambling for now =)

Since Dr Daisy Trilk (who was the Veterinarian and run Pet Care Clinic in Jeddah) left for good in December 2010, I can no longer state that I suggest and recommend this clinic anymore. I am not aware of the current Doctor there and can only advocate a clinic I have experienced myself. I recently took my dogs and cats to HAPPY PET located under OBEKAN in Jeddah, and have to admit i was very impressed by their passionate and professional manner of caring for the animals. The Doctor who treated my animals is Dr Jocelyn and I stand behind her expertise. I do not know much about how they run their boarding facilities nor their dog training camp, merely the Doctor at the clinic which met my high expectations.
Hi , I live in Riyadh and am aware of Open Paws here as well as the better vet clinics to go to, but i don't know Jeddah. Which vet clinics can you recommend someone to...

Hi Clare, we use Jeddah Vet0126912896. Others have recommended Happy Pet, Al Hamra and Euro Vet (most expensive). Sorry I don't have phone numbers handy for the last three. I am sure someone reading this can help with more info.

Sara Ahmed, The vaccination certificate may not have an end time but most countries expect the vaccinations to be up to date, which usually means yearly. In addition, some countries insist on the rabies vaccine being given within a certain length of time of entry to that country, plus a blood test. There is plenty of info on the internet for various country's requirements and the larger vets like Happy Vet/Eurovet/Jeddah Vet will be able to advise you as they have all done this many times over the years.
Ruga A. replied:
At Tahlia International Clinic they cost 100 per vaccine.
Hi! I need to know where I can neuter/spay stray cats for a cheap price and good service? I asked pet clinics in Jeddah and it's all around SR500-800. I really can't...
Mohammed A. replied:
I did neuter my male y'day at European Vet (Thahlia Road). They charged SR. 500/-. All the places are similar prices. They RIP our pockets (SR 400/- for neutering + SR 100/- consultation). If someone knows a cheaper option in Jeddah, do let us know. I have one more female to Spay and more coming.
