Dr. Huber! Both my 7 and 9 year olds got expanders, and then braces (got the expander mid December), and he is AMAZING. Very thorough explanations, very nice guy, and I'm super picky on who my kids see. They've done great with him!

NOT Rowen. He was just gonna put in braces. I got a second opinion from Dr. Huber and found out my daughter needs to have surgery on her jaw that Rowen didn't bother to say anything about. Another friend of mine had Rowen for his daughter, spent thousands of dollars on the braces then Rowen told him the girl needed to have surgery afterwards.

Having been employed as an orthodontic assistant for close to 24 years, now at Plaza Dental group in COMo, with a Great orthodontist. I spent close to twenty years in Jefferson City with two of the three doctors mentioned. I will first recommend if you don't mind the short drive come for a free consultation at Plaza Dental Group, Dr. Christian Francis we do have several that drive from JC. But if you aren't interested in the drive, HANDS down Dr. Huber would be my next choice. Good Luck!

Wilson orthodontics has been amazing! Dr Wilson is great with kids, explains the procedure to them, has amazing staffs also.

Dr Arun. I highly suggest going to the free consults. Each one has a different method, time frame, and cost. I found Rowan and Wilson were very pushy.

We are using Dr Wilson. He's was open and explained things well and fits treatment for each kids situation. I've had consults with 3 in Jeff. Progressive would be my next pick. Huber would be my third. He was very nice but my gut told me that maybe it wasn't the right pick for our situation.

Rowan pulls teeth. Huber and Wilson expand the jaw to make room for teeth. We went with Huber and are happy with the results. He's willing to negotiate a bit with you on the look of your teeth. He's open to your thoughts.

Ken Rowan. He was all my kids orthodontist and did a great job.

Dr Huber took care of both of my children. From the first consultation for each of them, he presented us with a plan, cost and time frame. He came through as planned for both of them. Both kids now have beautiful smiles. Very pleased with him and his staff.

He does amazing work creating a nice full smile and working hard not to have teeth pulled. Some dentists do also do braces; however, there is a reason that we have orthodontists. Their skills are trained further for this work. Great office and very pleased with my daughter's smile...you won't be disappointed.

Dr Wilson! I just got my braces taken off! When I got them on he called me personally to check and see how things were going. I just called to schedule a consultation for my son, Erika recognized me by name, asked how everything was going be braces free...I simply couldn't praise him or his staff enough!

Dr. Huber! He's great. He talks to you like he actually cares and remembers things about you. He talks to me about my teeth obviously, but also about other things. He definitely doesn't act like he's there to just do his job. He acts like he genuinely cares.

Dr Huber is phenomenal! He was awesome with my daughter, only had her braces 2.5 years & her teeth are perfect. Anyone has to wear their retainer at night to keep their teeth that way. My daughter has been out of her braces for 4 years and had an accident that knocked a tooth out of alignment. It was a Friday late afternoon when I called his answering service to tell him we were in the ER & they recommended we call. His nurse called me, had me send pics of the damage which she sent to him. He had her call me back telling me to let them know when she was released & that they would meet us at his office. At 6pm on a Friday night, Dr Huber pried her tooth back into place as close as he could & put braces back on her. He even deadened her lip because it was busted & hurt like crazy so she would be more comfortable through the night. He has always called my daughter his walking poster child. I'll never go anywhere else!!

Emma sees Huber, Abby goes to Wilson. With Abby, we also checked out Dr. Marchek (selling may be wrong) at Magical Smiles. He was considerably cheaper than Huber or Wilson, but was undecided about taking Abby on b/c of her specific problems. It was going to take a while to confer with the other drs. he works with and since we had already waited so long with Abby, we went with Wilson. He was very nice though and honest about his abilities. He might be worth checking into as well.

Dr. Wilson Orthodontics for us!!! We did both Dr. Rowan for Kayla and Dr. Wilson for Lucas. Couldn't be happier with Dr. Wilson. He does both Braces and Invisalign he will discuss with you the pros and cons and price each for you. We decided on Invisalign for Luke and it has been working great!! Good Luck!!

Beth, I am behind comments but agree 110 percent with Dr. Wilson. Samuel had fantastic care, and Garrett will be going there, too, once baby teeth are gone.

William is currently going to Dr. Wilson!!! We LOVE him!! Awesome guy and Doc!! 2 of my kids did Invisalign. Their teeth are beautiful!! Depends on the child's responsibility level for Invisalign... And if they are even a candidate for them. William was not because of his overbite and crossbite!! Best of luck!!

Beth it depends on the teeth shape Alex has. Kelsey had to do metal braces with Dr Rowan due to her upper teethe that needed to be pulled down. Cody was able to do Invisalign with Dr Dunville.

We went to Magical smiles who referred us to another local dentist who completed the paperwork to send to insurance. I was told my kid has two qualifying "things" to where he would be covered. However insurance keep sending denying the claim. I keep fighting it.

Magical Smiles accepts medicaid patients for basic dental care, but I don't know of any dentist or orthodontist in Jefferson City that accepts it for braces. We see Dr. Wilson for our daughter, and his office has a payment plan you can set up.

I have had braces through Dr. Huber for the last 6 years. He is nothing but amazing. Yes i should have had them off 3 years ago but that is on my part. I used to not wear my rubber bands like im supposed to do. He can only do so much, alot of the work is on you as a patient, like wearing rubber bands 20 hours a day. But i highly suggest Dr. Huber !
