Hi! When you say "reasonably priced" I am thinking you must have a budget - with a maximum in mind. How much do you think is reasonable for this item? I know an excellent carpenter who made amazing lofted beds with desks and bookshelves for a client. Stairs ought to be no problem for him. Dana Devorah makes a good point. My husband (in Texas and NJ) is a carpenter. He needs to make about 300-500 a day. so if this takes 3 days it would be $900-$1500 in labor and then wood, hardware and paint.
