Here are some restaurants you need the Israeli foodie to put in his two cents: Tzfata-http://www.villa-galilee.com/tzfata-gourmet-restaurant/ or Cafe monitin- http://www.cafemonitin.com/ or Hari 8- http://www.haari8.rest.co.il/
Hi! A couple of restaurant qus:
1) Roberg or Decks? Why? How do the prices compare, and which is better value for money?
2) Is there any kosher place in central-ish...
Andy L. replied:
Rebecca Loewenthal Roberg is located near tiberias - but its not in the city. You will need a car to get there - about 5 min drive, I cant remembver the exact town - but you drive about 5 km down some winding roads and you get to a small town.
Andy L. replied:
Ruth Waiman - Corinne Shmuel - its not 300 pp. Its 300 or 350 nis between 2. And its about 20 courses not 8 .
Would love reccomendations for restaurants in Tiberius, bonus points if they're kid friendly. And no, we are not taking our tribe to Pagoda or Decks...

Haven't been in a few years, but Cherry on the midrachov is family friendly. It's dairy. If you have time to drive further north towards kiryat shmona, Esh Besh is a nice meat restaurant that isn't too expensive.
Aliza Levitt Gillman - it is a restaurant not to miss. One of my favorites across Israel - and they have a good story as well.

El Rancho is more affordable than Decks if you're looking for a steakhouse
Dena L. replied:
Btw Makom Bsedgera at moshav Ilaniya is a million times better then decks and pagoda they are tourist traps and they may have been good once but not anymore.
Ruth W. replied:
would I suggest something that wasn't? :p http://www.roberg.co.il/
Andy L. replied:
Ruth Waiman Robergs is an amazing restaurant - but is more expensive than decks and pagoda. Roberg is probably the best restaurant we have been to in that area - and we have been to a lot of restaurants. BTW - its not fine dining, but there is a Badatz Beit Yosef Burger Ranch in Tiberias. It sounds like you are trying to find somewhere for a large family that is going to get everyone fed but not cost the best part of 600 nis'
