Anyone want to recommend a CHEAP but good and honest dentist in the Joplin area? Keep in mind I have no insurance. Was having dinner with Robert Cheyney Cullers and I...
Anita J. replied:
Go to Dr. Rohmiller in Carl Junction, he is half the price of all the other dentist and that's where we go and love him (no insurance here either) 615 E. Pennell 417-649-7801
Sheri H. replied:
Dr Rhomiller in Carl. 649-7810 I think is the number
Deborah K. replied:
Access family dental around 7 th and Maiden Lane, I also heard good things about the one close to 15 th and Rangeline where Burger King used to be. I luckily have not almost swallowed a crown but have heard positive remarks about these two places.
Darrell P. replied:
Access Family is where I go for medical issues, but they are not accepting new dental patients (I've already tried). I'll try to find out more about the place on rangeline...hopefully they are taking new patients or at least can reinstall my crown without making me wait for a week.
Deborah K. replied:
Isn't there a dentist by the Brace Place, around 10 th and Maiden Lane? Seems like I saw something when my daughter had her braces adjusted. How about Dr Patterson on 4 th and Pearl? His dad was our family doctor, maybe he is good too.
Callie B. replied:
Keep me posted. For Real. I take my kids to Dan Young and likability wise he and his staff are just great and do good work. I can't speak to his prices though because I've only paid insurance co-pays. I grew up using Patrick Thompson and liked him too but have gone very infrequently as an adults because his wife made me feel kind of shamed for not being able to spend on her up selling.
Melissa V. replied:
Community Clinic is cheap. 7 th & Joplin. They charge $15 per appointment.
Melissa V. replied:
Let me know how it goes. I have been taking people out of Access and sending them to Community Clinic instead. You have to pay the $15 when you schedule the appointment.
Does anyone know what that 'My Dentist' place in Joplin is? I had part of a filling fall out and it is an important filling and I don't want the rest to fall out before...
Jenni S. replied:
Hello??? Cornerstone Family Dental358-3361
Julie T. replied:
Call Dr Hostetter., she took over Dr Haneys practice and is who I use since we closed our office. She takes insurance:) 781-3182
Nedale J. replied:
I'm coming in tomorrow:) To Cornerstone!! To see you both maybe?:) A HUGE thank you to Miranda for working me in. I honestly thought most dentists in C-town were closed on Friday so that is why I didn't think to call any here. Seemed like someone told me that is why they went with a dentist in Joplin once. I'd much rather see Miranda and Jenni than someone I don't know. Anyday:)
Paula A. replied:
Nedale Walgreens have a temporary fililng to keep you from hurting. It is only temporary, but works for a few days!

We love Dr. Rosenberg!! He's a pediatric dentist, he's been doing it a really long time and my kids actually love going there. He and his staff put them at ease and he's very frank and easy to talk to.

Anyone know of a dentist/surgeon that will let me make payments? I absolutely need my wisdom teeth out. They should have been evicted a long time ago.
Kady M. replied:
Annie Brumley not too bad. I can deal with it but I don't wanna. I need my wisdom teeth out, & braces put on. Its horrible that dental work costs so much. I probably should have been smart and paid to have it done like 10 yrs ago.
Annie B. replied:
Dr. Bollin on 32 nd St. did mine. He was a super nice doctor, but it was an AWFUL experience! I wasn't numb enough before he starting pulling, the gas mask starting suffocating me, he was using his body and my face for leverage(-awkward-), I ended up with a dry socket(not his fault) but when I went back in to get it fixed it was worse than childbirth, and now I have such a sensitive tooth I can't eat on my left side, so I would avoid him if possible lol. I have heard a lot of people like him, but not me
Brandie H. replied:
Carecredit.com gives you an answer immediately. It's a medical credit card with low payments and some 0% interest for 2 year programs if you use high lines of credit. My mom had to cosign for me bc my credit wasn't the best but it doesn't hurt to try. A lot of offices accept it.
OK I've decided we need a dentist in our family cause I can't get into one for awhile and I'm in pain here lol
Kandi B. replied:
Well that is right up my alley! But we do laughing gas for any treatment you need. Call me if you need to. 417 293 4686. We can get you in on monday too with me.
