Dr. Gorman is new to Joplin but was our pediatrician in Parsons. She is amazing! She is at Pediatric Assoc. Of SW Missouri in Joplin.

Dr. Hamby is the girls pediatrician, Kayleigh has terrible asthma (she wasn't a preemie tho) MaKenna was 2 1/2 months early and he is amazing with her.....my girls will never see anyone else. https://www.facebook.com/tiffany.ann.024 and https://www.facebook.com/megan.lasiter take their kids to Hamby also.

Dr Grills, hands down my son was born at 31 weeks and my daughter at 28 weeks and he is their doctors. He was highly recommended for NiCU babies when I was trying to find a doctor for my son

as a mom of 26 week twins with bronchopulmonary dysplasia and chronic lung disease, I strongly encourage parents of severe preemies to have their children see a pediatric pulmonologist to manage their breathing issues. We see Dr. Lundien at Mercy Spri ngfield and love him. Dr. Terrance Carver at Children's Mercy in Kansas City was wonderful too. Pediatricians sometimes treat severe preemies with BPD or chronic lung disease as asthmatics and sometimes use the wrong meds to treat their breathing issues. I absolutely love our pediatrician, but adding the pediatric pulmonologist to treat their lung issues was like night and day for their health. My twins are 7 years old now and what used to prevent them from playing outside, they are now healthy and very active kids who love outdoors.

Dr. Grills! My son was born at 24 weeks and he has taken excellent care of him.

My son was born at 23 weeks and he sees Dr Grills. Dr grills is simply wonderful! He's so good to my son and so knowledgeable! I'm not sure he's open to new clients, but I would recommend him!! Good luck choosing a pediatrician!!

Dr Mary Kennedy! Her husband is also in the same practice. She's a family Dr. My 7 year old son really likes her!

We loved Dr. GROTE for our pediatrician. After my husband started working for Mercy we had to change. We just got a family doctor. I found it harder to get our kids into see her when they were sick that same day. So I would get your kids a pediatrician. Dr. Grote is a freeman doctor.

If you choose a pediatrician, dr shari smith is amazing! Takes all insurance. Dr Mary Kennedy is our family doctor and we love her too!

Dr. Dickerson is who Quinn see, she's very nice and good with kids/babies!

Dr Smith was nivek's first pediatrician and although she can be very mean to the moms. She literally made me cry at his 2 week appointment because she told me I was crazy for letting him sleep through the night when he wanted to. She made me feel like the worst mother ever at that appointment. She was always good with the kids but she'll go off on the mom for no reason and with no hesitation. (Btw he was my second of 3 all of which slept all night by the time they were a few weeks old and none of them had issues) Not saying don't use her just saying be prepared

Let them sleep. You'd think that would get them in the routine of waking during the night. Ummm...No thanks! Catherine, A few of the parents I have babysit for have used Dr Grills. I've been to his office on numerous occasions and I think he is GREAT!! Ive never met Dr Henness but have read several posts in the pasts about him and hear he is really good too!

Dr Chilton! She's mercy but since it's in carthage it's still covered under freeman insurance. Plus since you're in cj the drive is pretty much the same either way. We love her though and she always works us in and even called on the weekend to check on angelis when we took her to kc

We go to Dr. Kimora Ross and she is wonderful. She has been there for us for 14 years. She has been there in dire times and truly loves my kids. Love her.

Pediatrics associates of sw Mo there awesome we use Hunter but there is others there and they just built there building and its really awsome.

I had Shari Smith for years, and she was GREAT, especially considering my kiddo was a tiny tot and we were monitoring his growth in all areas VERY carefully.

I agree with Racheal WiningerWininger on Chilton she was Brent and Jonathan doctor and now her nurse practioner olivera is Elizbith RoseRose doctor she is totally fabulous!

Dr Wheeler was mine but he isn't accepting anything but newborns right now.

We used Dr. Nelson until he moved and now we go to Whitney Melton in Newark she isn't a pediatrician but she is wonderful!!

We use Dr Kris Nwokeji in Newport. They always get us in if there's an emergency and we never have to wait a long time in the office! Love his staff also!

Dr. Bates isn't a pediatrician but the i have used him since the twins were babies! ! I love him & so do they. Hope you find someone soon! I knkw a lot of my Newark friends go to Whitney Melton with their kids & love her also!

Henness. And if they tell you she's not taking new patients, tell them that she was highly recommended by a bunch of people. That might help you to get in. It worked for us Dr Henness also told me that drs offices may say they're full, but can always make exceptions and take new patients. Plus we just moved, so that should open up 2 spots right!?

I met Saige's ped during my stay at the hospital. Her name is Christina Dalton. She works in the office across from freeman. I really like her so far.

All three of my boys go to Dr. Holmes and we really like him.

Miss Natalie goes to Dr. Jeffrey Grills. We like him. Great with the kids. Easy to get into.

You know I love Dr.Henness. I talked to her receptionist and they said they are taking new patients. One reason I love her is that she will not perform unnecessary testing on the kids.

Dr Henness is WONDERFUL, but one of my daycare parents called a few weeks ago & she wasn't accepting new patients My girls see Dr Garrett. She's young. She's informed & She's most of all~ attentive.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Prater!!!! Access! She is like family! She does her job because she loves kids and loves truly caring for your children! and she has respect for YOUR thoughts! includes YOU! Takes her time! never rushed!! She has an amazing heart! If I could keep her forever I would!!

If Dr. Lassiter is still around (probably tore his name up right there lol), he was great with my kids, especially with Jeremy having autism and different issues and Tanner has autoimmune. I don't know if Dr. Stidman is still practicing there, but he took care of my older 2 children..both I liked really well.

We use Mary Kennedy. She is with Mercy. We have used her for 8.5 years. She is a family physician. Absolutely love her rapor with my kiddos. She asks my opinion and is so sweet.

My whole family goes to the Dr Kennedys. Russell and Mary. They are great. They are across from freeman, in the Mercy building at 32 nd and Jackson, I think. I love Dr. Mary. My sister worked there for awhile too.

Randy Bowles is awesome. He wears tshirts and jeans and is very informal. Once you are established with him he is good about diagnosing things over the phone too. Josh and i have seen hin for years.

I see Dr. Neighmond (the female one) and absolutely love her!! I saw her before we moved to ak and then called her once we returned and she remembered me (and ryan and Finley) and asked about them since they didn't come with me. She's very knowledgeable and kind although she is a fast talker. Very personable too
