Sam, we have a stray cat at our house that is awesome (and free). His name is Jack Bauer (Trevor named him) and he wags his tail just like a dog...... Think about it - we can't let him in the house except for Trevors room and he gets so cold!

I take my boys to Stoneridge Animal Hospital by UCO! They are great, they'll give you lots of free advice over the phone too if they don't think an appointment is necessary.

Its a cat u dont need a vet. U only need petmeds.com
Dr. Gautz in Sarcoxie, Diamond vet clinic, or Delinda Volskay in carthage are probably your three best local horse vets. For any major diagnostic issues, you'll want to go to the clinic in Pea Ridge Arkansas.
Susan C. replied:
Dr. Casey Nelson and her dad Dr. Gautz. We have used both for years.

Lorrie, I am from Xenia, Ohio (we had our town blown away in '74), and would I would love to help you out with Tuffy!! I have a female Malteste named "Girlie Girl", and a male Schi Con named Murray. Both are friendly dogs and current on their shots as well. My son is now living with his Dad in St. Louis, so I could at least meet you there if not even closer to you. My yard is fenced and we have a 219 acre farm where the dogs run free as long as I'm outside with them. Otherwise, they are on the couch or on the bed with me! As they others said, message me if you'd like more information. May God bless you and yours....

Lorrie, you might contact the Joplin Humane Society, 417-623-3642, explain your situation to them and see if they still have a list of families that are willing to foster. I also suggest you put a post on their FB page.

Erin P. replied:
Dr. Walstad at animal clinic of Joplin has been our family vet forever. He's the best!

Cornerstone Pet Care is our vet- Dr. Shilling-Scorce is amazing! Ask Michael for the number.

Main Street Pet Care. Dr. Leavens is awesome. I think they do a low cost spay and neutering clinic one day a week.

Karen L. replied:
Dr. Walstad is good. But. if you're just wanting them fixed, Dr. Gory at College View Animal Clinic. He can be hard to get ahold of, but if you leave a message he'll call back.
Mark H. replied:
Luke, what people rarely realize is that Dr. GORY, does all of the spay and neuters for the humane society, he is the best in town and the most affordable, he is just east of mssu on newman. He also.has the most affordable vaccines. Really great guy, I wouldnt recommend anyone else
Marcia F. replied:
Dr. Gory is primarily a large animal vet, not companion animals. I'd go with someone with more experience in companion animals.
I love Dr Jim Christman at Parkview Animal. I have been w him for over 26 yrs. He and his staff are amazing.
Jesse L. replied:
We like Madison Pet in Webb City - they love animals and the vets there are awesome.

Dr. Findley at Pet Clinic of Neosho. He's cheap and completely upfront about everything! My grandparents have always used him and we have for the past 10 years.
AdamTiffany W. replied:
we loved the vet right there at 32 nd and range line (in the shopping center next to food for less), I think its called Cornerstone Vet but I could be mistaken, but the vet was awesome and their prices were always cheaper than the other vets.
