This is a long shot... But a few years ago someone told me that they found a lot of relief with a physical therapist in town for SPD during pregnancy, and I wrote down...
Christina M. replied:
Sandy Schaser at Physical Therapy Services, ptsofwmi.com.
Jennifer N. replied:
My friend recommended Cindy Turner at Rehabilitation Works.
Jessica E. replied:
Thank you, Linda Healey! I do have the contact Sue Wright gave me awhile back, but she said specifically for tailbone pain. Either way, I have Sue's recommendation of Claudia Ring or Corlee Louder at Borgess Rehabilitation Services.:)
Jessica E. replied:
SPD = symphysis pubis dysfunction. Severe pelvic pain during pregnancy and sometimes lasting afterward. http://www.birthsource.com/scripts/article.asp?articleid=189 A PT might also have suggestions for your sciatic nerve/hip pain, I have also known some women to find relief for that with chiropractic and/or acupuncture. Even a belly belt that lifts the abdomen a bit may help!
Jessica E. replied:
YES! It was YOU, Kinn! Thank you! And thank you Christina and Megan, I will add Sandy Schaser to my list of resources as well!:) I welcome your friend's suggestion as well, Jennifer!
Sarah A. replied:
Kevin Lacey is fantastic - he helped a lot with my sciatica during my pregnancy with Charlie...
I think need physical therapy on my hamstring and calf. Agility health doesn't have an appointment until forever. Anyone recommend anything of quality in the area that...
Gordon G. replied:
Willing to travel? I called Lakeland Health (St Joe) on Friday and was able to get an appointment for 7:30 am today.
Thomas A. replied:
Thank you Nancy Thompson Yager. I got an appointment with Dr. Goodwin this week, so I am happy.
Elisabeth B. replied:
Try Kris Cooper or Nick Smith at physiotherapy associates
Gale F. replied:
Mrnal Choski at Physiotherapy in Pennfield is very knowledgeable. Before he came to Battle Creek he worked in a clinic in Manhatten that worked with runners only.
Michael C. replied:
I saw you out running in the heat near the Pizza Parlor on Sunday Thomas. You're an animal. I was headed to the lake instead. I'd be interested in hearing how it goes with Dr Goodwin. I'm still nursing that hamstring injury I had at last fall's fast track in BC. I may need some PT as well.
Scott M. replied:
Thomas...this is Scott from Agility PT. after you see Dr. Tom Goodwin...if he thinks PT is indicated then contact me directly at Scott.miller@agilitysportsmedicine.com. I will get you started.

Patty C. replied:
I really liked the place below Dr. Noffsinger's office on the corner of Stadium and 11 th Street, but I do not remember the name. If you want I'll try to figure out the name.
Cathy H. replied:
Physiotherapy Associates on 11 th street really helped my mom after her surgery and helped my knee so I didn't have surgery. I kept wanting to exercise in the pool but my referral didn't cover that, next time!! I believe it is the one that Patty is talking about.
Mary Powell, Mary Muliett, Kari Selinger, Carolyn Coppolillo Dostal, Megan LaBerteaux do any of you know a good canine physical therapist in the Kalamazoo area?
