Dr Lopez at Cab Hlth Alliance would put in on abx and pain meds until his appt. Just FYI. I hate the dentist too and he has never hurt me and this last on was a mess to get out but he did great and I didn't have any issues afterwards.

My husband had a tooth pulled with Dr Compton and his bill was $100 but it was a simple extraction so I don't know how much if it's not a regular extraction but he does work with you. I got 2 root canals for $700

I've had a good experience with him but I'm sure that there are people that haven't. The best dentist ever was Dr. Kelly but she moved to Ohio

There is a dentist by big lots in concord through the health alliance. It is income based, but you have to call really early in the morn. I wanna say 8 am..to get a same day emergency appt. You have to tell them you are in horrible pain and they try to get you in that day. I think you just need a paystub... Google the phone number or you can call the Health alliance to get it their number is 704*920-1000. I know there is a dental clinic in the new Health Alliance as well (300 Mooresville Rd) but not sure if they work the same way. Good luck, tooth ache pain is worse than labor....been there

You will pay an arm & a leg at an emergency clinic. Trust me, I know. I work for a specialty dentist. I personally go to Dr. Icard in harrisburg. Dr. John Selden is a fantastic dentist as well. He is off mallard creek. Also Pam Linker, although I am not sure where she is located.

Dr Compton is $100 to have a tooth pulled with out insurance and sometimes he'll work with you

Dr Sobo is off lake concord. He's pretty cheap but I can't tell you how much. Worth a call to find out.

He will set up a plan for you to get what you need done in order of priority, and you can make payments to him ahead of time and when you have enough saved up, they schedule for your next appt. I had $9000 out of pocket worth of work done over the course of a year.

Yea.. I have insurance and still can't afford. The health alliance won't do the sliding scale if your on private insurance and I went to Friendly Dental in Kannapolis and they told me like $6000.... wanted to pull teeth that there isn't even anything wrong with.. and wanted all that up front. I'm sure some people will recommend that place.. just beware.

First Impressions with Dr. Jennifer Gawthrop. That's where Liz worked this semester. Kim the hygienist is terrific with kids and old people...um I mean adults.

I was going to Dr. Jennifer Gawthrop, she takes Delta Dental Premier but Not Delta Dental PPO and I had to go find a PPO Dr. to get full coverage thru ins. My company required us to go PPO for full coverage.
