I used to go to Dr. Miller in Elizabethton but his practice has been bought out by Dr. Tipton and renamed Appalachian Family Dentistry-I had a tooth extracted a few weeks ago and it was honestly the best experience I have had in 40 years worth of dental work. There was almost no pain and everyone was super professional. Cannot recommend them enough!

Appalachian Dental Associates across from Mahoney's in JC

Montgomery Dental Associates in Kingsport is hands down one of the best in the area. Stear clear of Dr Marrs in Piney Flatts.

Thanks a lot, folks, and if you have a favorite please keep 'em coming - I guess I'll have to print this thread and then check it against the dentists covered under my plan. Bonus points for cleaners who won't complain about my teeth, I know they're bad but I'd been living in an area without a lot of good dentists for years and this is what you get when that happens. I *know* my teeth aren't as good as they should be, and I hate getting chided when I'm trying everything I can to correct that issue.

Eric and I went to Prairie Village Dentists for the first time last month, and I really liked my hygienist gave me a lot of good info about mouth care and told me stuff I didn't know. The dentist was a little strange (went crazy with talking about medicine stuff), but I think Eric had the same one and he was fine with him so I think it was just because I'm in health care. It's not too far from BRGR/Salty Iguana.
