We have used Critter Control twice. It is not because they failed the 1 st time, but because the large trees next to our old house are perfect squirrel highways and about every 4 -5 years they chew new openings. We had a nesting squirrel dig through the ceiling above our shower. Squirrels dropping from the ceiling while you are showering - a truly traumatic visual! They are not inexpensive but they keep at it until you have no unwanted houseguests.
