I really can recommend Studio Build. They did some amazing work on the West Side and redid a friend of mine's house in Prairie Village. He told me they were super patient and worked to get everything he wanted in his house. They were pricey for sure but the work was amazing. If you look on their site for the 1648 Residence, that will give you an idea of how they do things. [http://www.studiobuild.com/](http://www.studiobuild.com/) Another idea it to contact Studio 804 at KU. They do student built, LEED moderns on spec to for their grad-level projects. You can see one of their houses on 3914 Lloyd Street in KCK. I almost bought that one a few years back.

Where are you wanting to build? Urban or Suburban? Are you looking to build at a larger development or are you wanting a one off. Larger developments (urban and suburban) usually have recommended architects or even preselected designs that you can use.
