can't get our home insurance agent to return our calls about flood damage from last week... anyone have a recommendation?

I saw this on the Lebcity alerts: "Anyone suffering any damage should first contact your insurance company. If they deny your claim or you don't have homeowners insurance, please contact NH211 by dialing 2-1-1 or 1-866-444-4211 in New Hampshire and provide them your information. This is the first step in helping to determine the eligibility for Individual Assistance for storm related damages." see here: http://alert.lebnh.net/home

There was just an article at VT Digger about state inspectors doing site visits around the state to review flood-damaged areas! Not sure if your town office would know, or someone at the state?? Or your regional planning commission? http://vtdigger.org/2013/07/08/federal-teams-to-assess-flood-damage/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=federal-teams-to-assess-flood-damage

Can anybody recommend an Insurance Agent for insuring a house?

I love Haley Ball, from State Farm Insurane. She is so great and provides amazing customer service. Her number is 816-364-5959.
Nila R. replied:
I love AAA. I had State Farm for 40 years but when they paid for the HOA's lawyers to fight me when I had to sue over failed maintenance and breach of contract I switched to AAA for house and cars. They gave me far better coverage for $650 less per year than State Farm.

Alan Martin is awesome.
Evan C. replied:
Ron Culp is who I'd always recommend:-)
Karen I. replied:
David Lawson with American Family. He is in Liberty, but is the best
Matthew C. replied:
State Farm Insurance, hands down. Any agent will do. We use Mike Chapman out of Lees Summit.
