Hukilau Lanai is a ways great--very consistent, and great service--and is a better deal than a lot of other places because entrees include a salad or soup, and there are multiple ones to choose from. Excellent fresh fish. We've been enjoying Lava Lava Beach club recently too, you get to eat with sand between your toes (beach), listen to the waves, and there is nice music at night. Excellent food too, great fresh fish. Prices seem more expensive but portions are large and delicious. Yummy vegetarian options too. It's not just a good meal but a fun and relaxing experience too. They are also open at lunch in case other dinner places are booked. I only ate at Bull Shed once, but personally (and for my friends) these two are way better. Enjoy wherever you go, Happy Father's Day to your husband!

North Shore Turtle Bay Area is beautiful. Kailua is awesome too.
