I went on Tazwell pike to get my wisdom teeth out. East TN oral surgery I believe. Dr. Tronsdon did a great job and I only had to take 2 days off of work (one was for the actual surgery)

For the extractions I’d go to dr Stinson dds in Jefferson City one tooth was $75 for everything and they discount for multiple extractions

You can apply for a Dental/Medical credit card called Care Credit through any Dentist.

Cornerstone Dental Arts has a plan for folks with no insurance. I think there is a monthly fee and then a discount on services. I have heard great things about them.

Check out Carrington Dental. It is not insurance but with a very small monthly or annual charge you get discounted rates. If you cannot find it online I will look for my paperwork. We see Dr Massengale near Turkey Creek under this plan. They will give you a list of participating providers.

Here is our info--1Dental.com. Our plan is Carrington Care 500 Series Plan. We pay $149 annual rate for 2 of us. They have a fee schedule the participating dentists agree to. Hope this helps

Don't go to Aspen Dental...they are outrageous

I had Humana dental and medico dental that I started up and within the month had 1 cleaning, 1 extraction and 4 fillings for 86 bucks. I paid medico 30 for the month and Humana 19 for the month. I decided to cancel my Humana but still have my medico since it does offer much more. Starting some sort of insurance up might be worth it. Only thing was I couldn’t get “major” dental done for one yr such as root canals and so forth but all filings and extractions was covered day one.

Remote Area Rescue will be in Knoxville Jan. 30 for people who need services and can't afford them. Look them up for info. Will be at Chilhowee Park in Jacobs Bldg.

Problem is most DDS don’t do extractions anymore they send you to oral surgeon. Dr. Sara Walker on Colman Drive off Papermill Road is great. Michael Wooten is the best oral surgeon around. Wishing you the best.

I go to Wetherington oral surgeon in oak ridge regular dentist Donnie Dean they have a plan for people who dont have insirance im a nurse and extremely picky and i had extraction Dr Wooten in Bearden one tooth 1,000 but u can go cheaper with local anesthesia im a wuss!!!

We used Dr. John Pryse for my daughter's braces. They have an office in Clinton and Oak Ridge. Getting to his office in Oak Ridge was closer for us than Cedar Bluff. He came highly recommended from a friend and did not disappoint. His prices were reasonable, and he took payments without interest and without having to do a credit plan which I appreciated. He doesn't do dentistry though just orthodontics.

Dr Bradley in Powell does great work. Of all the dentists I have seen his work has held up over time.

I can second Cedar Bluff Dental. I go there and they are great. I hate they're not in your proximity but I can give them 5 stars.

Dr Brewington retired. Dr Pittenger took his place. I have been once and my husband for cleaning x-rays. He is very personable and nice, and I liked him. Dr Sisk is in the Red brick building just before Grace Baptist Church. On right. He is very nice also. Does cash same as Pittenger or the "Comfort Credit" which is a card you apply for. No interest charges. Hope this helps.

I just visited for the first time, Dr. Victor Williams on Hardin Valley Rd. He & his staff are young and professional. He has an office to himself and it is very convenient. I don't know about cash prices, but you could give him a call.:)

Dr. Dean off Kingston Pike is wonderful. A cleaning with no insurance is like $119. They are all so friendly and most importantly they are gentle.
