Go to someone who also has a massage therapist on staff- in fact I would recommend a good massage first- you may not even need a chiro-adjustment. (Dr Blue in Darboy is good- or a Massage by Mandy at his office- she is amazing!)

Gateway Chiropractic ~ Jason Lang is amazing and a personal friend. I avoided neck surgery as well with Chiro. 70% of people have herniated discs of some sort and most do not require surgery if handled properly by a good chiropractor. I have also heard good things about Duffy as well. Whoever you pick make sure they educate you, most good chiropractor will make sure to teach you first so you thoroughly understand what they are trying to do. They will also take an x-ray of your spine and pin point any problems that are visible and what plan of action they will be taking to fix it. If they can't show you on the x-ray why you are having pain, I would probably leave quickly Good Luck!.

I know Oshkosh is quite the drive, but Hendrickson Chiropractic off of Jackson st. is amazing! They are very educational on your spine and how it works for your whole body. They also do free classes during the week on nutrition! He's a great guy!
