Philipa - you will be VERY happy if you use Felicity Boarding/Sitting service. She's a neighbour and we use her - our dog sleeps on her sofa! Message me if you want - as Nanette said, Vicky is the lady who owns it (Felicity is the name of one of her previous loved dogs). She also doesn't charge the extra day that most places do.

Harvington kennels are the best as they are not caged. They all have a run and are the only kennels I can safely say my dog has never come home smelling! He walks the dogs as much as possible as you will find a lot of kennels won't do this. Contact is Dave http://www.harvingtonkc.co.uk They probably aren't the cheapest around but if you have a look you will see why. I wouldn't use anywhere else. Only the best for my pooch!
