Coming for vacation looking for fresh local seafood. Where can I find a restaurant offering local catches?
Face999 replied:
O'Neals for sure. BUT - there is Outer Banks Catch is designed to promote wild-caught local seafood and educate seafood lovers... https://www.outerbankscatch.com/restaurants

"I've Got Your Crabs." Cheesy name but good local seafood. Also, a good rule to go by down here...there's tons of fresh, local seafood to be had in plenty of restaurants...but pay close attention to the daily specials.

Carawan's right off the bridge if you want to cook it yourself. Or Frog Island Seafood in Barco if you want to get off the highway and stretch your legs.

O'Neal's in Wanchese. This is really the only great answer and well worth it. Only open for lunch.
Does anyone know of any restaurants on the beach that offers a gluten free menu??

Barefoot Bernie’s and Tortugas are good, South Beach Grill and Avenue Grill (both closed for the season), Ortega’z in Manteo is good. Of course Outback and 5 Guys
