Dr. Coles at the Scott & White Killeen Clinic. 254-680-1100. He took care of my son for 7 yrs, and my premie since birth. He was an Army Brat for years. Try not to go on post, they are awful.

When my kiddos were sick, they saw Dr Coles, not someone else.

I have a 3 yr old and newborn as well and we go to Thomas Moore on main post...dr Winn is great! To answer your other question you can ask for an off post provider when you register with Tricare here but usually if there are openings on post, they will assign you to an on post provider first, then if there are problems with them you can request to transfer off post. My boys see Dr. McBroom on west fort hood and she is great!

I have 1 child that goes on post and 2 that go off the on post Dr Hensley is awesome she was the only 1 to see my son was a little out of control and asked question about his behavior so see what was wrong. The off post dr. Hibib is also great my girls have been seeing her since i had my 3 child over 2 yrs ago they are great and never fuss about you asking question or kids running around.

My daughter goes on post but to be honest I don't really care for them. She will be 10 months on the 12 th and just saw her primary pediatrician at her 9 month check up. Every time we go we never see the same doctor. But I know that the doctors at the Copperas Cove Clinic are very nice.

Hands down, Dr Drigalla/ Dr Baca. They work as a team. They each work 1/2 a week. I have cried about leaving Dr. Drigalla. She is sooo amazing and pretty much left us feeling like no one else will ever compare. She's at Scott & White Killeen, Ped clinic. But I've never had a bad experience w anyone in the whole practice. We were there for over 3 years.

We are at hood, but we live in Belton and my kiddos see Dr Tinku Davis and she's wonderful

We are at the West Fort Hood clinic on Fort Hood. Dr Ngyuen (pronounced Win) is AWESOME! I have a 3 yr old and a 16 month old who is a preemie. We have always been pleased with the care given.

My kids both go on post at Ft Carson. I did however use Pediatric Associates on Barnes a few times a few years ago when I had both AETNA and Tricare for the boys and they were really great with Jayden. I don't remember the doctor's name we saw unfortunately:( 719-596-4502

I guess the issue is that my son saw his team of doctors at Texas Children's Hospital. THEY are knowledgeable. When I took my son to Dr Wright, she acted like she didn't care. I kept having to call and call about his new referrals and one of those very important referrals STILL haven't been handled MONTHS later!!

I forgot!! The doctor I choose also needs to be affiliated with S&W hospital, NOT Metroplex.

My kids and I love Dr Ricky Mitchell. He is great with them and sings to them all the time. Very nice nurse too. Only downfall is the front office lady is pretty rude but I go bc he is worth it.

I take my kids to Dr. Okogbo. He is at the Scott & White Hemingway bldg. next to Metroplex Hospital. They've been seeing him for years. He's wonderful and very thorough.

We see Dr. Nickle at Scott and White in Killeen and I have been happy with her. We have only had her for a year because their other doc retired, but she seems very competent, uses her common sense (which not all docs do), and is very friendly with kids and parents.

My daughters doctor just moved to Belton, she was with Scott and White, not sure if she still is. Dr. Choe... Very nice and thorough, saw my daughter from birth to just recently before she moved.

Emma had Dr. Street at the Family and Children's Clinic in Harker Heights. He was the ped on duty when she was born, I followed up with him and liked him so we stayed with him until we moved. She saw other drs there when he wasn't available, and I liked them all.

Dr. Rebecca Riser...she is at Kings Daughters Clinic in Temple...I believe she accepts Tricare!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!!!

You may want to interview them before committing to them. Be sure they can support you in your parenting decisions. Not all pediatrician are supportive of breatfeeding. Also, take into consideration your views on vaccinations. I have heard good things about Dr Henbest in Cove. He is also a Christian.
