Jasmine would like recommendations for someone experienced in pregnancy massage, particularly experienced with sciatica issues
Kirsty G. replied:
Definitely Sue at Winchester Sport & Spine - she's a retired midwife and only does pregnancy massage. Utter bliss!
Charlene C. replied:
Hi Jasmine! Just make sure it's not pelvic girdle pain (PGP) that you have, rather than sciatica. Can be easy to confuse the two, as PGP can give shooting pains, very much like sciatica. It's caused by the pelvis being mis-aligned or stiff/stuck pelvic joints and usually occurs during pregnancy. Check out www.pelvicpartnership.org.uk for more information about PGP. Manual therapy such as Physio will help, if it's PGP. Xx
