I need recommendations for a good OBGYN... I've used the same doctor for years, and now all of a sudden they don't accept my insurance anymore, so I have to find a new...
anyone know of an obgyn that's not saunders or beckner that will do things my way and not be a dickweed?

Christy Stevens is AMAZING!!! I love her. She came to visit me in the hospital at 3 in the morning bc she had heard something was wrong with Brylin. She is the best, hands down! She is at Women's Healthcare Specialist across from Holston Valley.
LaRee B. replied:
Dr Withrow is the shit. Seriously.
Victoria C. replied:
There's Dr Fogg. She's near Indian Path, she's the one who delivered Jayden. Thibault is mine though (she wasnt able to deliver Jayden when I had him, since she was delivering another) The name of the place is, Women's Health Care Specialists. I like her pretty good too. I personally perfer a female obgyn. They definitely understand/relate better and it's not as awkward for me. haha.

Dr. Kappa she asks what you want to do and follows it
Tawny B. replied:
I agree Dr. Withrow, is awesome
Danielle B. replied:
Pinell is great. I hate Saunders. I blame him for my miscarriage. Dr. Adams is also good.
Dear friends I have a very good friend who is looking for a gynecologist in Kingsport and she would rather that the dr. be a female. Can you help?
Marilyn A. replied:
Dr Kappa or Dr Fogg. Great team. Marilyn Adams, CRS, GRI
Vicki K. replied:
I love Dr Stephen Kappa
Betsy C. replied:
Christy Stevens. She feels your pain and doesn't minimize your concerns. She did my surgery after a male doctor didn't feel it was necessary and felt I was too high a medical risk to operate
Nancy S. replied:
Dr. Barbara Richardson Cox is Fantastic. She also needs to make sure whoever she chooses is in her insurance coverage and the hospital the Dr. works at is included in her insurance coverage too.
Sharon S. replied:
I met Dr.Cox at Indian Path yesterday. She had just completed a complicated feminine surgery. My friend was sitting up and doing great today - I couldn't believe it. She had even been by to visit her this morning. I was very impressed
Judy L. replied:
When I was in the hospital I saw Dr. Stephens, she was so caring and concerned and listened to what you had to say. She was also very concerned about your pain and resolving the issue. . She is with a womens specialty group next to Holston Valley, I think.
