I am looking into painting cabinets any suggestions? Recommended paint brand? Shortcuts? Tools? TIA
Tim S. replied:
It depends on the cabinet finish now. Factory paint has the best paint.

We have painted all our kitchen cabinets white, but it seems to chip. We did them 3 or 4 years ago, and they need to be done again. We used Ben Moore satin impervo too, but it doesn't last long enough. The wood starts showing thru. I think we put 2 coats on. Maybe we need more.

Veronica Lane is a shop in Pembroke/Hanover that has cabinet painting workshops (they sell Annie Sloan) but even if you didn't take a workshop they are SUPER helpful in there. https://www.facebook.com/Veronica-Lane-518308654874514/
Ben Moore satin impervo best for long lasting durable finish this paint is 15 years old!!!

Moralo floor paint is the best for cabinets. Last forever and goes on easy. Love it. I have done island, floors, doors and cabinets with it. Factory paint in plymouth helped me with it. They are great there.
We are looking to replace countertops in our kitchen. Can anyone recommend a reasonable and reputable business or person? Anyone you wouldn't use? Thanks.
