Oasis Joes in Uptown. A bit pricey (if your a student on a budget) but well worth it.

Another vote for Spearhead! I plug this place whenever I get a chance, they do an amazing job and the price is fair. https://spearhead.resurva.com/

My dad has very straight hair. My mom has very thick wavy/curly hair. I got a mix of both. My current hairdresser is the first hairdresser who "understood" my hair and how to deal with it. I'm very happy with him: http://flohairlounge.com

No. 3 for Spearhead. Mitch and Dave are awesome, and Jess does killer work on a walk-in basis.

My personal recommendation is Maurizio’s barber shop on Bleams Rd. They can do any style and are very friendly and professional. They run the shop for many years and are really good on what they do. Prices are good too.

If you have long hair I would recommend going to a salon instead of a barbershop. I grew my hair out last year and get it cleaned up at Elements hair salon on the boardwalk. They do a great job on men’s hair and quite frankly, rival any barber I have been to in the area.

Kim Thy Hairstyling in Kitchener downtown. I have been a customer there since my university time and I am an old man now. Nice friendly ladies, good price, and great hair cutting/styling.

The Green Room, 607 King St W, they have online booking. I’ve been going to Dave for a couple years now and I’ve never been disappointed with a cut. I know the rest of his team there is top notch as well.

Lily at Good Hair Co. Salon and Barbershop. I was her client at the proper barbershop before I moved way up north. She has moved recently, and does amazing haircuts. I always try to go see her whenever I am down south. Also rides a sick motorcycle.

The Greenroom Barber Shop has the best barber talent in the city.
If you ever get the chance to have a straight razor shave I highly recommend it. Go to the Walper barber shop in the Walper hotel. They do a great job.
