I paid $1600 (enclosed) from Central Jersey to Portland, Oregon last month. Use a reputable broker, and go enclosed... it's worth the money.

Try Uship.com

Also, there is a shipper who posts on Chevelles.com He has an enclosed trailer and transports one car at a time.

http://www.reliablecarriers.com/ It won't be cheap but they will get it there in the condition it left in.

I have used the same Brokers for years, family owned call Nicole at truthful transport 561-921-1908 they pick up my cars quickly and I once I had a car damaged and it was quickly fixed (that is how you know you have a good shipper). Highly recommend them, not a bait and switch company- I have used every single large transport carrier and those take forever..since Monterey (Pebble Beach) just ended most transport guys are driving from Monterey to somewhere delivering cars back..

This is the number to a shipping broker named Jim. I have had the best experiences with him. He quickly finds good carriers and is very honest, decent prices. 847-331-2904. I paid for not running cars which is usually a premium a 70 Chevelle rolling shell from San Antonio to Los Angeles for 850 and a 60 Cadillac coupe from Arkansas to Los Angeles for 900
