Bradley Faulkner. 2527628899 I called him for my AC unit about a month ago. He came out and told me what was wrong with no fee involved. He was very nice and was back at my house the next day (he came out on Sunday to look at my unit) and fixed my AC within an hour! Reasonable priced as well.

It just needs freon, to be honest you can go pick up freon at Walmart, auto zone, advanced auto, if your not comfortable putting it in just send me a message I will be in wake forest with my fiancé getting some parts at advanced and if you buy the stuff we will put it in for FREE. Won't take five minutes, don't let people take advantage of you, because they will!

We have used R&S Mechanical Services for two houses that we have lived in. We've been very happy with the service and the guys are always extremely nice and polite when they come out on a service call or preventative maintenance call.

www.jordanshvac.net Recommended by a coworker. He saved me $1,600. Originally had Thermo Direct Inc. out to troubleshoot. They said bad TXV valve - repair cost $1,600. At that price I wanted a second opinion. Called Jordan and had him out there. Problem was clogged drain pipe. He un-clogged it & showed me how to fix in the future. Cost me $75.

So in 2 years time...I've been through purchase / inspection, some repairs, and then eventual catastrophic system failure. My view on each company I dealt with along the way... R&S Mechanical did my maintenance and repairs until my system failed in Spring. I had R&S, Yellow Dot, ARS, and Bowman Mechanical all out for quotes. R&S Mechanical guys were awesome for maintenance as well as inspections (recommended by my realtor pre purchase)...when my system finally kicked the bucket, I wasn't very happy with their quotes for install of a whole system replacement (price and equipment - mainly equipment vendors they chose to back). That said I wouldn't totally rule out bringing them back for simple repairs or maintenance though - if for no other reason than all of their techs were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. At the same time - I feel like they MAYBE could have "preemptively" caught what eventually caused my system to fail. In any case - they didn't - and I try not to hold it against them, but it made me a bit "eh" on them as a whole. Once my system was down, I eventually chose Yellow Dot for a new system install - mainly because they had the best price + equipment + install cost. The experience...was...frustrating - but they did "right" in the end with some pushing along the way. The process was a bit harder than it should have been in my opinion. To be fair - I pushed them pretty hard on price and equipment and I'm sure I wasn't their "cash cow" customer and may have harbored some reluctance to do anything more than the bare minimum. Even so, I don't think it should have taken as much "debate" to get things right. If you agree to a price, do what you promise in the first place. I probably wouldnt bring them back out for anything, but its not like I'm entirely upset or feel like it was the WRONG company for an install. Not sure if that makes sense per se - but I also dont feel like writing a book to explain it all in full detail haha. By far, the best I dealt with for quotes on install was Bowman Mechanical...however, they couldn't compete on bottom line price - which had to rule the decision for me at the time. However, for honest, straight forward, GOOD people, they win hands down. I didn't pick them for new install work - but I plan to happily spend a bit extra to take them on for all future repairs and maintenance. I just couldn't swing their slightly higher labor AND the cost of all new stuff at the time. They weren't shy to admit that they might not be the cheapest, but they don't try to be and put customer satisfaction and work quality first. Usually that sounds like salesman BS - but it seemed genuine in my experience. ARS was awful in the quote process - pushy - salesy - and generally not my kind of company. Didn't take it further than that, no further comment or insight, really.

I have tried Efficiency twice, and they sent out a guy who didn't know what he was doing......Too expensive, too imcompetent. I strongly recommend Randy Hales (919) 492-4131, if you reallly want it fixed.
