The Lochleven Seafood Cafe near Ballachulish; a bit pricey but worth it and then some. The George Hotel in Inveraray for the atmosphere and the mussels. Corrieri's in Causeway Head for good Italian; reservations a necessity. Glenfinnan House for all around goodness.

I was asking about deep fried Mars bars....Debra recommended Carron Chippie in Stonehaven. She told me they originated it. http://www.carronfishbar.webecomservices.co.uk/

The Three Chimneys on Skye is now in the top twenty restaurants in the world! Bravo! What an amazing thing to have here on Skye - we are very proud. However, book many months ahead and don't even look at the bill.

Fiddlers Inn at Drumnadrochit on Loch Ness. Best haggis I had while in Scotland!

Plockton, Lochalsh - spoilt for choice between Plockton Inn, Plockton Hotel and Shore Restaurant. And then there is the chippy ... My personal preference is the Inn. Great seafood. Game. Vegetarians treated with respect - proper options. http://plocktoninn.co.ukhttp://www.plocktonhotel.co.ukhttp://www.plocktonshoresrestaurant.comhttps://www.facebook.com/harbour.fishbar/

Strongly advise browsing Tripadvisor.com, it covers scotland ver well. That way you can narrow your search down to a certain village or city you plsn to visit
Does anyone know of a restaurant named Mickey's in Raleigh or Cary. I heard it advertised on radio and can't find anything online. They were advertising Bailey's...
