CA does have dorms, but the school is probably closed. I thought if there is a CA family who could take her in for two days since there is a connection with the Fiske family at CA.
Arima Onsen, Kobe Hotel Recommendation. Hello R/Japan Travel
Has anybody stayed in Arima Onsen, Kobe? We'd love to stay there, but the results we're pulling up is...

I stay in Arima Gyoen on Nov 9th 2016.
Solo traveler. I think I paid around 32,000 yen; (double occupancy)
If you opt out of the kobe beef kaiseki dinner, the price for room + breakfast is half the amount
edit: if you plan on going there, you should check out Mount Rokko, which is like a 10-15min walk past the onsen town to the tramway
edit2: I book the ryokan via Japanican. Arima Onsen... is just a concrete looking building with the inside of it looking like a rural ryokan.

I would recommend - [Kinosaki Onsen](http://www.kinosaki-spa.gr.jp/global/) 2.5 hrs from Shin-Osaka Station

10,000/person/night for meals in an Arima ryokan is tight. The [Merville] (https://www.jtb.co.jp/kokunai_htl/list/A08/28/2801/280109/6435028/#htl_contents) is usually a little less than that for breakfast-only; two-meal plans are about 12,000 yen/person. The Maple, as mentioned by someone else, is also around that price.
