I've had both my ACLs replaced by Dr. Eugene Schoch at Austin Bone and Joint www.abjortho.com I definitely would go back to him again for future knee issues or surgeries

I had an ACL replacement (among other things) with Texas Orthopedics http://www.txortho.com. I highly recommend them. My doctor was Dr. Peter Garcia, he and his staff were extremely nice. I've also found the staff at the Scott & White Hospital up in Round Rock to be really friendly also (that was for wrist work). Hope this gives you some leads.

Also, regarding the ptsd. I had to have surgery due to a misdiagnosis by a completely unrelated doctor to Austin Bone and Joint and I had to have emergency surgery by Dr. Pearce at [Austin B&J](http://abjortho.com/). I saw both the Pearce doctors and they were excellent and very comforting. Not in the shoulder to cry on way, but in that they were very soft spoken, confident and used humour to make me feel at ease. If your sister has a ptsd due to surgeries, I also recommend seeing a counselor (psychologist) too.
I am pretty sure I have a case of shingles. Does anyone know of a home remedy until I can get to my doctor?

There is a Rediclinic inside Heb+ by our old house and it opens at 8 am. Their web site has some info. http://www.rediclinic.com/clinical-services/live-healthy/vaccinations/shingles-vaccine/

OK, I took you all's advice and stopped by the REdi Clinic after lunch. I now have an anti-viral prescription! I think it can be contagious to people who have never had chicken pox.
Betty P. replied:
Soooo glad you got the anti-viral, Tammy! Praying it will keep it from spreading! I know you knew@my shingles & I still tell everyone to get a shingles shot once they turn 50! Such a shame it isn't covered by insurance/Medicare! You need to get plenty of rest....I was on heavy pain Rxand, Lyrica and Lididerm patches, in fact had to use a patch w/in last 2 weeks due to the burning pain on my back! I have scars even! I had to wait 9 months before I could get shot due to the severity but think it's usually 6 months. So glad Dave got his vaccine-won't prevent but like flu shot---will be less severe! Anyone who has had Chicken Pox can get Shingles!!! Okay, that's all, email me to let me know how you're doing! So thankful you went to clinic-wish you had gone last nite tho--every minute/hour is important!
I need to find a general physician or internal medicine doctor in the Kyle/Buda area who accepts Medicare. Any recommendations? I love the doctor I've seen for the past...
Does anyone know where to look to see if a certain IUD brand is covered by the ACA? I have private insurance and had the Kyleena branded IUD recommended by my doctor....
Dejohns2 replied:
I don't think brands are regulated by the ACA. From what I understand, the ACA requires that insurance companies provide x, y, and z options, but not state which brands of x,y,z. Which brands are the decision of your insurance. I would contact your insurance company again and ask them to send you a comprehensive list of their birth control options. I have Aetna, and [this is what they covered in 2016.](https://www.aetna.com/content/dam/aetna/pdfs/formulary/2016_Womens_Contraceptives.pdf)
tacartlu replied:
Okay, you can google this by typing NAME OF YOUR INSURANCE + WOMEN CONTRACEPTIVE + FORMULARY + THE YEAR THE PROCEDURE IS HAPPENING. For example Aetna women contraceptive formulary 2017 and something (usually a pdf) would come up.
