Does anyone have any dentist recommendations in the La Center/Ridgefield/Battleground area? I'm looking for a new dentist to get a filling fixed.
Hollie A. replied:
travis has a cousin who is a dentist in longview. Michelle Anderson. She's been in practice for many years. I don't go that far, but it might not be too bad for you. Wishing you luck! That is not a fun thing to do over and over.
I have CUP insurance and need a dentist. Does anyone know which dentist accepts this insurance?
Lori B. replied:
I caution against Excel. My husband went there recently for a small cavity. As Brian told me, the doctor came in and never said anything to him at all, quickly stabbing the novacaine shots into his jaw and causing pain. Before Brian could ask any questions or stop the doctor, again without saying anything to Brian, he was rushed through the procedure and the doctor did not correctly finish off the filling. I could even see that looking in his mouth and I'm not in that line of work! Since that was Brian's first visit there, I don't know if the doctor may have been having a bad day or if he is always that way. If anyone ever were to treat me like that, I would be jumping right up and putting a halt to everything and trying not to deck the doctor! I also found out that Brian was never shown his X-rays, but told about other work that they wanted to do the very next day and they seemed very anxious to get him scheduled for it right away. Of course, he never went back. Brian will now need to go to a different dentist to get that tooth repaired, but he wants to wait until we can get him back to our regular dentist at Smiles Dental in Ridgefield. They know what real dental care is all about:)
