Oooh, this is a great list. Many I have not tried. I recently went to Taste of India and enjoyed it very much. Java Vino, and the Root Note are other favorites.

The Dim Sum Tea Shop is kind of a special place that my son and I like to go to on "dates". We both love the little dumplings and tea. Unfortunately, my hubby requires something a bit more substantial so that is why we didn't head that way...

Iguana's doesn't have much flavor. Manny's for seafood. burrito house and Fiesta Mexicana are for everything else. The Torta at Burrito House is the best.

Manny's Sunday special fish taco is awesome. The Prairie Pub has Cajun Fish tacos on Fridays that are some of the best I've ever had.

For what it is and the culinary skill, variety and presentation I think it is right on the mark price wise. I agree it is not 'college friendly pricing' but you get what you pay for. Kate's on State probably didn't have much if any of a college crowd when she was in there. I think it is okay to have a mix of restaurants around campus. You have administrators and instructors that live in the campus area as well as college students who will splurge for special occasion. I really appreciate what they do at The Mint.
