The cost is going to be dependent on the area you live in. There are some estimators that can get you in the ball park, but your best bet is to call a roofer to come give you an estimate. I have done roofing before, but they were all new installations, not replacements. laying shingles is not difficult if you have the right equipment, but you have to also consider permits, codes, old shingle haul-off, and the possibility of running into problems like having to replace rotted out plywood.
