Does anybody know of a good family doctor or pediatrician that has openings? The doctor that we had for like 10 year decided to stay home with her kids. Thanks

Try Dr. FINLEY at Life Care Family Health at Bellevue Med. He is a family dr.

I don't know Dr.Whitcomb but that's how Dr.Mccann is. She is very quiet and soft spoke, compassionate and caring. I never feel like she's in a hurry to see the next patient and always takes her time. Like I said earlier I am pretty sure she's a saint ;)

We HATED Papillion Family Medicine. Absolutely LOVE Children's in Bellevue. Dr. Moffatt is not taking new patients there but they have a new doc there who is very highly recommended.
Dona B. replied:
Dr Treu at Immanuel seeing him for years and was my husbands doctor when younger

Are there other doctors in the office taking new patients? My kids see Dr. Hudson at CUMC. She's not there on Wednesdays and usually goes on vacation the first week of July. lol. But it's a busy office, and they're usually seen by an intern (but always get to see their doctor when they go).

Dr Michael Cohen at village point pediatrics . It's a drive but so worth the care you will get.

I am pretty sure Dr. Rachel McCann is a saint. She's at Children's off 96 th and Giles. In the ValVerde Plaza. All the doctors there are pretty great!

Susie Roche Hester if they are also looking for a Pediatric dentist I highly recommend Dr. Hodges. He is so nice and great with little ones. His office is off of 72 nd behind the Blue Cross Blue Shield building.

I am, Kim, but I am only familiar with who I go to in the West Maple area or north west of Dodge. Susie Roche Hester, here is a personal recommendation.:)
Kimberly K. replied:
Dr Harrison and Andresen are in the same building.

My doctor (even though I live at 96 th & Giles) for Amelia is at the Women's Center. However, I have a friend who has had all 3 of her boys to Dr. Andresen, and loves him. Any Methodist doctor (if Andresen is, if not, 96 th & Giles location also is Children's) or Children's doctor is amazing in my experience.

Nicole it sounds like Dr. McCann works great for you and what you want for your kids. That doesn't mean she will work well with everyone. There are risks with vaccinating and risk with not vaccinating and a lot of unknowns. It's important to do lots of research and make an informed decision. Kids who get vaccinated are not immune and can still get those diseases and die. Vanessa I felt the same way with our pediatrician at the last well check when I told her I didn't want the flu shot for my kids and that I didn't want to get the vaccines due that day because I wanted to research more before deciding. She seemed mad as she tried to talk me into the vaccines telling me how her son had them all and did I really want to have to miss work to stay home with a sick kid. I have heard AWESOME things about Dr. Whitcomb. I am seriously considering switching and it's a far drive for me from La Vista.

Dr. Finley at Bellevue Medical Center is amazing. He's our family doctor he always let's you know what your options are but is never pushy about anything. He's also doing my vbac in a few weeks.

I have also heard great things about Dr. Whitcomb and Dr. Wilwerding:) we see Dr. Votruba and we love her. I have heard she will vax or not vax too. We homeschool and she doesn't look down on us for it. She's very friendly as well.

I go to Dr.McCann! Lol am I really the only one she's pushy with?
