I have to mention two more, though definitely a second to Tony Prater: We love eating at Real Fish in Lafayette and their service is always great. Dr. Mudd and all the staff at Ridgeview Pedatric Dentistry are absolutely fantastic - they are over the top.

Chic FIL a gets my vote. I don't think they have waiters but it sometime ' s feels like it how helping the servers are. Would get refills and even my trash taken out by them from my table.

$1200 is normal ballpark for a post and crown, so don't feel too taken by the monetary amount. Root canal would add to that. In the future, get a written quote before any work is started. You want to ensure that you know the price as well as the number of return visits to get the job done. Dr. Tracey Hughes in Louisville is great. I would recommend Dr Shore on South Boulder Rd. And on a side note, I've had horribly experiences with "corporate dentists" those that are chains with cute kitchy names? As they have quotas and will tell you that you need something that you do not. I had to change dentists a while back because of an insurance change, went to a corporate dentist and after a while (I think I was going there about a year) i was told I would need a crown, or possibly even a root canal. When I learned that my minimal insurance would not cover that, I switched insurance so I could afford it and then decided to go back to my original dentist. When I went in I told him what I was told and he looked and said nope, I didn't need a crown or a root canal, all was fine with that tooth! I will never go back to a corporate dentist no matter what... I don't need someone doing work on me to fulfill a quota imposed on them by a CEO somewhere.

Dr. Jessica Hetcko in Westminster. Their prices are reasonable, and if you can't afford, they work it our with you. Caps are completed within an hour. If you don't want to do a service they recommend, they offer other options. They are fun and polite and I've never waited more than 5 minutes to see a Dentist. PLUS--they do things like this: last year, Dr. Jess was raising money for a clean water well in Africa. If I made a $100 donation to that charity, she took $100 off my dental payment AND but the fee in half--all to raise money for clean water for others. We go to Dr. Guyton here in Lafayette who I have really liked because she listens to me. She has suggested I have fillings replaced (and some require crowns). I don't get the work done until they bother me and she's fine with it.

Dr. Winnicki at the Dental Shoppe by Liquid Mechanics. Family group, wife is hygienist. We've been going there for years, they took out Noah's wisdom teeth, fixed crowns, etc. Always good experiences there. Kids love that you can watch Netflix while in the chair!
