The 4 gangs ARE (still) Waiakea Pirates, Lincoln Wreckers, Olaa Greenwaves, Waiakea Uka. The boys from Lincoln Wreckers invented Locomoco in the 1950's. Although we call them gangs every Hilo family was associated with one of these gangs or the Sons of Keaukaha.
