In need of a good pediatric dentist in Lafayette for Lane. Any suggestions and why?
Charlena C. replied:
Dr. Leslie Jacobs. She is great with the kids. The office staff are kind. They run on time because she has enough staff. The kids look forward to going to the dentist and sometimes ask between appointments when they're going again. The office decorations are very inviting and fun for the kids. Helps them to relax and not have a phobia of the dentist.
Marta M. replied:
Dr Keaty. He & his staff are great. My girls have been going for years.
My 8-year-old just fell on the ceramic tile floor and broke off his entire front PERMANENT tooth. Anybody know a good pediatric dentist in Lafayette who could get us in...

I need suggestions for a good pediatric dentist. I'm n Lafayette but don't care to drive to Chattanooga. Would like someone who really has a good way with kids and a kid...
Nora Y. replied:
My kids go to Hixson Pediatric Dentistry. They have 3 examination chairs in the same room so we can all be together and all 4 kids are done quickly. My kids really like it there.
Cortney P. replied:
Dr. Gill in Chattanooga. The waiting room is a little grown up but he is a pediatric dentist. The back is a big open room with video games and big TV. My girls love him and the staff. Plus he was my dentist when I was a kid. However he does not let parents sit in on the exam and cleaning he wants to make being at the dentist a positive experience. Afterwards he meets with you and gives you a full run down of everything.
Pat S. replied:
Dr. Whitmire. Chattanooga. He has a bird and video games
Kristy M. replied:
I took the kids to Dr. Roberson near Hamilton Medical when they were little. He has TVs and they didn't care what they were doing in their mouths because they were watching TV.
Nichole S. replied:
My kids LOVE Dr. Cox!
Bennie S. replied:
Dr. Whitmire was great with the girls when they were little! The girls always looked forward to going to him!!! Has playroom out in the waiting room and also the exam room- cleaning room together one big room with games for the kids around in that room! I liked it because it was right by the Walnut Bridge could go for short walk cone back the girls were done! They would pull u in the back and talk then pay and go! Parking was never a problem! Right by the Hunter Museum!
There is a pediatric dentist in Baton Rouge named Dr. Ripple. Is his partner Dr. Mad Dog 20/20?
Joan D. replied:
My son goes to him. His wife owns Crawfish Aquatics Swim Club. Get it? Pool..Ripple...
Joan D. replied:
Allison, I lost my work portfolio at Crawfish Aquatics one night when I brought my son to swim team practice. It had many signed customer invoices & checks totaling a large sum. Early in the am I began to look for it. I called & called. I thought to call Dr. Ripple's office to see if he could get someone to open the place up. I was in DIRE need. He did that. He called the mgr to open the doors for me@CA so I could look for it. He didn't have to do that! Long story short, my book was turned in (w/ all contents) to the office by the custodian. I fell on my knees and began to cry with relief. Nan, got on the ground and prayed with me. It was an awesome moment. Good people!
