I know it's a heck of a drive. but I had the same issue. Vet in benzonia quoted me close to 400. And then a friend recommended Dr Witt in Marion. the spay ended up costing me 150$ with him and I had a voucher so I ended up paying 100 out of pocket. He is very affordable and loves animals. great old country vet. highly recommend.

Dr. Jerry Harrison at Leelanau Vet is such a great vet, and not overpriced. I'd get a quote from him--it'll give you a fair estimate of what a reasonable vet will charge. Do look at subsidized options like through the Humane Society. Kudos for being a responsible pet owner and getting your adorable furkid fixed!
