BTW, regarding "a cord of wood" being a 4 by 4 by 8 foot stack, and not whatever I can fit in my truck, the PA Dept. of Agriculture has a Weights and Measures Division, and they're very particular about what can be legally sold as a "cord of wood" (it's their job). If you think you've been significantly shorted they will come to look.
