We used Hamlin Vet also. Our dogs had the same issue that popped up when they turned 14 & 15. Dr. Shaeffer prescribed some meds that has brought some relief.

Cherry Ridge Veterinary Clinic in Honesdale is one of the most professional and understanding practices I have ever been too. My rescue dog has bad knees, one eye, and so many allergies it's hard to keep track of. Needless to say we visit there a lot, and they are always so great and treat him like he's a prince❤ he actually looks forward to going to the vet

Dr Sandra Shaffer at Hamlin vet is amazing! She's very kind, compassionate, and the animals love her! I highly recommend her. She's the only one I go to for my fur babies

There are a couple in the area... Cherry Ridge Vet Clinic and Hamlin Vet. I drive to Citywide in Dickson City. The closest hospital is in Clarks Summit. Hope your pet is ok

We went to Cherry Ridge for years. Hamlin vet misdiagnosed my dog and she passed away due to wrong treatment.

Unfortunately I had to use Veterinary Referral & Emergency center in Clark's Summit twice in 1 year. Great care was given to my dog. First drove to vet in town and wasn't treated very nice by desk staff during an emergency. She told me I needed appointment...as my dog was in respiratory distress close to respiratory failure. She ended up in the ICU for 2 days at Veterinary Referral & Emergency. They kept us informed. They told us cost upfront and only did treatment after we gave consent. They saved her life.

I take my pets to Hamlin Vet, but the Tractor Supply Store in Hamlin offers vet clinics one Sunday a month from 4:00 to 5:30 pm and very reasonable prices for shots. I've been taking feral cats there that have been roaming around here in the Hideout whenever I can trap them, and getting them neutered at Dessin shelter. Last vet clinic was on Sunday, next one is April 10, I think. No appointment necessary, just bring your dog or cat.

I personally have always gone to Dr. Treyes but they’re all wonderful. Treyes sold out his partnership to Dr. Rutledge so his hours are more limited now.

We love Dr. Gross, she deals with our rescued puppy mill cairn terrier who (because of bad breeding) has an abnormal eye he was born with. He also has two bad back knees and she always knows how to get our little guy feeling good and back on his feet again❤️
