Yeh you can :D There's also the Pirates League https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/magic-kingdom/pirates-league/. As a bit of a planning tip, the fireworks are usually between 9:00 pm- 10:00 pm depending on the time of year so I'd plan times carefully to make sure he's not too sleep to enjoy it :D x

Regal Palms is great. Lovely gated resort with town houses and a communal pool are with slide, lazy river, jacuzzi, volleyball, thursday night movies round the pool, restaurant, bar and easy walking distance to publix, english bar and chineese take away. about 25 mins to disney by car x
